Have you noticed that we like to be green? Well we also care about our environment and
have tried to ensure that our products and packaging are as eco-friendly as possible.
Extensive research has gone into ensuring all our materials and packaging is as
environmentally friendly, recyclable, compostable & biodegradable where possible. We
are also part of the No Issue Eco Alliance so for every order we make, a tree is planted in an
area of our choice.
Soy Wax & Mica Powder & Fragrance Oil
Our soy wax & fragrance oil is biodegradable and vegan friendly. No animal products are used and no animal testing has been carried out in its manufacture. Our mica powder has not been chemically dyed and is also vegan friendly and has not been tested on animals.
All tape used in product packaging is water-activated, which allows the manufacturer to print on non-glossy/wax-coated paper making it biodegradable.
Packaging Boxes & Envelopes
Our boxes are manufactured using FSC® certified strong kraft corrugated cardboard - these boxes are not only 100% recyclable, they're printed using eco-friendly plant-based inks too.
Our envelopes are 100% UK made from recycled and recyclable corrugated paper that is certified sustainable by the FSC® and uses a plastic free tear strip.
Logo & Thank you Stickers
Our paper stickers are made from cellulose fiber where the active acid pulp is eliminated during processing. The pulp is also lignin- and sulfur-free, meaning the paper won’t leave behind any of these chemicals when decomposing.
Wax Melt Clear Bags
These bags are made in the UK from film that has been accredited to ‘OK biobased’ and DIN EN 13432. They are made from annually renewable PLA derived from vegetable starches (potato, sugar beet etc.) and are fully Biodegradable. The biofilm (and cellophane) bags are fully biodegradable and compostable which means that they break down to CO2, H20 and biomass which can then be reused in the eco system to make new plants.
Our tissue paper has been sourced by a company who is FSC Certified - the FSC or Forest Stewardship Council certifies that the paper products that make up their printed tissue paper are sourced from a forest and supply chain that is managed responsibly and sustainably. It is made from cellulose fiber where the active acid pulp is eliminated during processing and therefore acid free paper. It is also lignin- and sulfur-free meaning the paper won’t leave behind any chemicals when decomposing. The company also uses Soy inks which are an eco-friendly alternative to petroleum-based inks, made from soybeans, a renewable resource and have the added benefit of not leaving behind petroleum based products when decomposing. Finally, soy inks have low levels of VOCs, reducing air pollution during the drying process.
